today at work i was listening to his show in my office.
it was a really great set--exactly the type of music for the mood i was in.
and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere he started playing the "everybody has AIDS" song from team america. hahahaha i laughed quite a bit.
he was kind enough to text me and ask what someone still loves you boris yeltsin song i would like played. i suggested a song called "coming through" and he was kind enough to play it.
unfortunately, SSLYBY rarely releases the lyrics to their songs. the album is so new that i haven't scrutinized all of the lyrics yet. he texted me shortly after starting the song and asked "are they swearing?" honestly: i don't think they do in that song....sometimes it is hard to distinguish all of the words since they are often muffled. hopefully he won't get in trouble for it! but, as he texted me back, he's done in 2 weeks anyway....so it's not a big deal.
well. in a change of pace, i have a ridiculous amount of homework to do. i'll see you later, blogosphere.
